In-Process Quality Control

The In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) is commonly referred to as the During Production Inspection. It is conducted at the factory, where our inspector will review the whole manufacturing process from raw materials to finished products, to packaged products leaving the factory. We can focus on a few different stages or we can stay at the factory to monitor the entire process. This is entirely up to you.

What do we check during the In-Process Quality Control?

A QC inspector will check the manufacturing process, from raw material to finished product. We will focus on the process check and record the manufacturing process steps. This ensures you are aware of all that is taking place.

We will also check the overall status of the finished products, including the individual parts, quality of finish, functions, dimensions, appearance and packing.

We will analyze a root problem by watching the manufacturing process and help the factory use the correct manufacturing process in order to reduce the number of defective products.

What is the benefit of the In-Process Quality Control?

Most problems will occur in the production process. Some processes are manual, others are automated, but mistakes happen. Many occur due to negligence or lack of knowledge, while others are design and material related. There will also be some that are unforeseeable. If there are problems, a Finished Goods Inspection is too late. This means that there is an additional cost incurred by the manufacturer and shipment schedules are at risk.

Some factories need professional help. They meet your price point, but it does come at a cost. We support the manufacturing process by having our inspectors on-site as the quality control in the assembly process to stop problems before they make it into finished goods and to back-track a problem for corrective action.

Through our In-Process Quality Control report, you can understand the whole manufacturing process and quality control processes at the factory. You will learn of any problems and whether they will affect the products that are being created.

You have the power to control the whole manufacturing process and minimize the defective ratio of products and ensure delivery time tables are maintained. We’re here to help you every step of the way!
